State Representative Roberto Alonzo attended the installation ceremony for newly elected officers of the Dallas Can! Academy - Oak Cliff campus Student Government Association April 23.

During the ceremony Alonzo urged the kids to continue to take an interest in their community, and commended them for their service in the association.

The students pledged to assist in creating a closer relationship between the student body and faculty while serving as the official medium between the two.
