Can! Academy Grads Seize Opportunity, Overcome Challenges
6/18/2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 18, 2008 – AUSTIN – High school graduation is often thought of as the moment when a kid becomes an adult.
For the kids at Austin Can! Academy, graduation represents more than a transition to adulthood, but also proves to the students, faculty and their families that they are embarking on new journeys with new lives.
Several of the kids at Austin Can! Academy have successfully completed their high school education and will receive their diplomas at a graduation ceremony Friday.
Perseverance and a collective sense of determination, from both the faculty and the student body, have motivated this group of graduates to live the dream of sprinting through the academic finish line.
Having overcome various hardships to meet this life-changing goal, the 2008 graduating class eagerly awaits the upcoming challenges life will throw at them next.
